HYPNOSIS-
WHAT IS IT?
Hypnosis is the method
by which we can access out sub-conscious mind, and "re-program"
ourselves to be whatever we wish to be!
HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnosis is a natural
state of mind, one that most of us enter into many times daily. It is
also a method by which we can access our sub-conscious mind, and "re-program
ourselves" to be whatever we wish to be! Anyone can enter hypnosis
easily providing they want to be hypnotized and have no misconceptions
about hypnosis and how it works. In over 200 years of recorded hypnosis
history there are no documented cases of anyone being hurt with hypnosis.
You cannot be hypnotized against your will. You are always in control.
Although you are physically relaxed, you will be much more mentally alert
than when in a normal state of mind.
Hypnosis can help
you in the following ways:
·
Overcome Addictions: Stop smoking, alcohol/ substance abuse, nail
biting.
· Improve Physical Well Being: Safe alternative to anesthesia,
control pain, overcome insomnia, enhance weight loss (in conjunction with
the Abranavel Body Type System Program), improve sports performance.
· Enhance Mental Ability: Eliminate phobias, improve concentration,
improve memory, reduce stress, increase ambition/ motivation, improve
study habits and creativity.
· Increase Social Skills: Increase self confidence, improve
self image, overcome shyness and stuttering, eliminate stage fright.
WHO IS IN CONTROL?
You
are! Although you will be physically relaxed, you will be much more alert
mentally than when in a normal state of mind.
You will be an active
participant during therapy; you will hear and respond to everything.
As an individual,
you will instantly reject any suggestion that does not feel right. You
will not allow the suggestions given to enter your subconscious unless
you want them to.
NO
ONE CAN HYPNOTIZE YOU AGAINST YOUR WILL!
An individual must want to be hypnotized, and it can only occur once you
feel comfortable with your therapist.

WHAT IS A HYPNOTHERAPY
SESSION LIKE?
Your
session will be a pleasant experience, which consists of four (4) distinct
parts.
Part I: After completing your paperwork, your therapist will give you
a short relaxing session and explain how the sub-conscious mind works.
Part II: You will discuss your goals with your therapist, who will answer
your questions and advise you how to more rapidly achieve the results
you desire.
Part III: During therapy, you will listen to soothing sounds while your
therapist guides you to a state of deep relaxation, so your subconscious
mind can accept the suggestions you have agreed upon.
Part IV: At the conclusion of your treatment, you and your therapist will
evaluate how successful you feel the session was, and decide what steps
to take next.
